1. What is a Pupa? | پیوپا کیا ہوتا ہے؟
English: The pupa is the non-feeding stage between the larva (worm) and the adult beetle. It is the resting phase where the insect undergoes a complete transformation.
Urdu: پیوپا وہ مرحلہ ہے جہاں سنڈی (Worm) کچھ کھانا پینا چھوڑ دیتی ہے اور ایک مکمل بیٹل (بھونرا) بننے کی تیاری کرتی ہے۔ اسے تبدیلی کا آرام دہ مرحلہ کہا جاتا ہے۔
2. Appearance & Characteristics | شکل اور خصوصیات
English: Initially, the pupa is creamy white and turns light brown over time. It features developing legs and wings tucked close to its body.
Urdu: شروع میں پیوپا سفید کریم رنگ کا ہوتا ہے جو وقت کے ساتھ ہلکا بھورا ہو جاتا ہے۔ اس کے جسم کے ساتھ جڑے ہوئے ننھے پر اور ٹانگیں واضح دیکھی جا سکتی ہیں۔
3. Duration & Climate | دورانیہ اور موسم
English: In Pakistan's warm climate, it typically takes 7 to 21 days for a pupa to hatch into a beetle. Cold weather can slow this process down.
Urdu: پاکستان کے گرم موسم میں پیوپا سے بیٹل بننے میں عام طور پر 7 سے 21 دن لگتے ہیں۔ سردی کا موسم اس عمل کو تھوڑا سست کر سکتا ہے۔
4. Care & Separation | دیکھ بھال اور علیحدگی
English: It is crucial to separate pupae from active worms to prevent cannibalism. They do not require food or water; just keep them in a dry, ventilated container.
Urdu: پیوپا کو متحرک سنڈیوں سے الگ کرنا بہت ضروری ہے تاکہ وہ اسے کھا نہ جائیں۔ انہیں خوراک یا پانی کی ضرورت نہیں ہوتی، بس انہیں خشک اور ہوا دار برتن میں رکھیں۔
